Based on the psychologist Carl Jung”s archetype theory, this thesis analyzes Amir’s growth in The Kite Runner, divided into three periods from childhood to middle-aged. The growth process includes new understanding of their own, gradually complete personality, and self salvation. This research aims at giving a profound analysis of human psychological developmentinfluenced by archetypes and providing a new perspective for initiation novel. |
